Covering an entire mainland SIM in Second Life, set on a peaceful hillside by the sea, the Fellowship is a Christian ministry devoted to providing a clean, wholesome, safe environment for fellowship, recreation and the edification of residents in Second Life, while gently spreading the Gospel of Christ. We offer bible studies, prayer ministries, live praise & worship and support ministries. Through our ministry partner, Calvary Chapel: Second Life, we offer Sunday services, Lady’s Fellowship and Christian counseling. If you’re looking for recreation or entertainment, there much to see and do here--alone, or in the fellowship of friends--showcasing some of the best that Second Life has to offer. At the Fellowship you’ll find a prayer lodge; a chapel; a meditation park; a drive-in movie theater with over 45 movies to choose from; a game park with board games and laser tag; a resource center with tons of free stuff; an amusement pier with cool rides; a coffee house to meet friends, or watch KMTV Christian television; an event pavilion with regular, live praise and worship; a sandbox for building and messing around; and much more...
So, what’s Second Life?
Second Life (SL™) is perhaps the internet’s finest and most unique social network--a 3-D metaverse created entirely by it’s 17 million residents. Each resident is represented “in-world” by an avatar that can walk, talk, fly and even teleport from one location to another. Here you can own property and other stuff, build things and create to your heart’s content. At any given moment in time there are an average 60,000 residents in-world--sometimes as many as 80,000 or more. You can find people here from all over the world--over 55 countries--and as such, Second Life’s content and culture are as diverse as its residents. The things to see and do here are almost limitless: shopping malls; sporting events; parks; beaches; clubs and entertainment venues abound--thousands of locations and venues. Indeed, there is so much more, it can’t even be described. If you can imagine it, it’s probably here. If it’s not, you can build it yourself!
Importantly, behind each of those 17 million avatars is a very real person--with real needs, real desires, real fears and real problems. Because there is an extreme level of anonymity in SL (each person having a name, not their own) people can be whatever they choose, look as they choose and behave as they choose--often (and unfortunately) in ways they may not in real life. Clearly, just as in the real world, with so many people and such diversity comes much that is good and much that is, well… not so good--and some that is just plain bad! There is however, one thing that everyone in SL share in common: a need for Christ in our lives. And that makes Second Life one of the largest mission fields anywhere in the world! It is for this reason that the Fellowship of the Unashamed - Second Life was established in August of 2007--a calling from God to carry out His Great Commission and labor in His harvest.
Fortunately we’re not alone in our mission, but the Christian presence in Second Life, while ever growing, is quite small by proportion. There are a number of other Christian venues in SL and even few churches--but too few--and all that are here need help in many ways. Your prayers are always needed and most welcome, but practical support--volunteers and yes, financial support are welcome, too!

Mark 16:15
And He said to them. “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature.”
Ephesians 4:1-3
I, therefore, beseech you to walk worthy of the calling to which you were called, with all lowliness and gentleness, with longsuffering, bearing with one another in love, endeavoring to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace.
